There is a “Open Data Curation and Image Analysis in Digital Rocks Portal (PREWS5)” workshop one day before the American Geophysical Union meeting in Washington, DC on Sunday, Dec 8 from 8:30am to noon.
Registration (through AGU) and details: https://agu.confex.com/agu/agu24/meetingapp.cgi/Session/229618
Anyone interested can attend if registered through the above link ($85 fee).
We will have a hands-on session discussing curating image data of porous media in the revamped version of the portal as well as Python tools for analysis and visualization. Participants need to bring their laptop and data they wish to work with or upload to the portal (and if not, we will provide datasets to work on).
