As confusion has erupted around the future of funding, many researchers and scientists are feeling overwhelmed right now. So, for those of us that are uncertain of what to do in these tumultuous times, here are some potential options:
Scream into the void: it releases tension, and no one can hear your relentless cries of pain as another grant application is repealed
Watch paint dry: it will keep you occupied for hours just like writing papers used to do
Open a bakery: this was always the fall back option when you dropped out of graduate school anyway, right?
