Fall 2025 SlicerMorph Courses:
The SlicerMorph team is offering their SlicerMorph courses this fall for those who are interested!
SlicerMorph 101 – Introduction to 3D Digital Morphology
Dates: November 3rd–7th
Registration: https://forms.gle/VikV5bXudsCZbP8o9
This is an introductory course for 3D digital morphology using 3D Slicer and its SlicerMorph extension. Some of the topics we will cover include:
- Data importation (image stacks)
- Volume rendering and visualization
- Segmentation protocols and quantitative analysis
- Morphometric measurements
- Animation and presentation graphics
- Cloud data export workflows
- Photogrammetry processing pipelines
SlicerMorph 102 – 3D Morphometrics with SlicerMorph and R
Dates: November 17th–20th
Registration: https://forms.gle/a2FWBRsNfGBYEam27
Prerequisite: Completion of SlicerMorph 101 or demonstrated 3D Slicer proficiency
- Focus: 3D morphometric analyses
- Prerequisites: Prior SlicerMorph or 3D Slicer experience required
- Eligibility requirements:
- Completed previous SlicerMorph short course, OR
- Demonstrated equivalent 3D Slicer proficiency
Topics NOT covered: 3D imaging dataset processing, segmentation, model extraction
Logistics for Both Courses
- Format: Online via Zoom
- Schedule: Daily sessions, 9:00 AM–2:30 PM Seattle Time
- Break: 20-minute interval mid-session
- Platform: MorphoCloud instances with pre-loaded datasets and tutorials
