The next cycle of 3D Digital Morphology with SlicerMorph short course will be offered online December 2-5, 2024. You can submit your application from this link:
https://forms.gle/S35YN2dEruCjmbYC9.The form will close on October 31st, and selected participants will be notified by the second week of November. Note that you are expected to attend all four days, so make sure you consider this when submitting your application.
This course (which we colloquially call SlicerMorph 101) will be specifically on fundamental 3D digital morphology tasks such as accurately importing data (microCT and other image stacks), visualization (volume/surface rendering, animations), segmentation, 3D model generation, and measurements and data export. We will be offering a separate 3D Morphometrics with SlicerMorph and R (SlicerMorph 102) sometime in February, also as an online course.
As usual, there is no fee for these courses, thanks to funding from the National Science Foundation; and we will prioritize applications from early career scientist, URMs in STEMs and applications from PUIs.
